The remote IT team at Beegom steps away from their workstations to come together offline and organize regular trips (1-4 times a year) outside of cities to spend time with children and make a positive impact.
We meet with the younger generation (schoolchildren) to inspire them and explain the purpose of the internet, why it works the way it does, and how it can be used to their advantage.
To open new horizons for personal development. To teach kids how to learn through the internet and realize their potential without leaving Ukraine or even their small hometowns.
In a friendly, informal atmosphere, across various locations over 2-3 days, we (the Beegom IT team + volunteers) engage with children.
We get to know them, share our stories and professions, and work together on cool IT projects (building websites, creating music, exploring artificial intelligence).
We also play active games (e.g., football), have evening conversations around a campfire, and answer the children’s questions.
“Dvyzhok” is, above all, about communication, the experience of brief but meaningful encounters, and a dialogue that transforms everyone involved.
